This is the historic Chapman Building built circa 1885. Originally built by Chapman out of brick to replace his wooden hardware store which was destroyed by a fire in that block. The current owners purchased the property which had been "modernized' in the 60's and restored the property to its original historic look in 2003. The interior was totally gutted and very attractively rebuilt as well. The owners received an award from the city for the project and occupied the building for several years to operate their real estate company. For the last several years it has been occupied by Wells Fargo Advisors. The basement has been built out into 19 mini storage units which are accessed directly from the alley.
